Yes, I paint dogs and the occasional cat, I even painted a horse once, it didn’t go well, so no horses. Before I ever painted a rockstar, I painted our four legged friends. If you are interested in one of these paintings I will explain a little bit about the process.

First, I need GOOD pictures, with great light, preferably a few pictures so I can see different angles and one that shows the dogs eye color. The best way to take a good photo is to get down at eye level with your pet, shooting down on the pet does not give accurate shapes of features, especially the ears.

I paint on wood panels either 4 x 6 or 6 x 6 and you can pick the background color if you like. Depending how busy I am they usually take about 2 weeks. The price is $100 plus shipping and that is per dog. If you want multiple dogs in the painting it is $100 per dog.
